How Facebook Ads Work: https://blog.kissmetrics.com/deep-dive-facebook-advertising/

6/19

What I’d like to do on the Facebook page:

It needs to look more personal, so we need to get pictures of people/kids in there. Seeing the words “sexual/pornography/playboy” is a HUGE turnoff and I actually don’t want to click it because of those words. It needs to have a more friendly feel. Jamie Oliver’s page is a great example…he’s surrounded by people. But he’s a chef, you’d think he would be surrounded by food. But he’s not, because the most important thing to Jamie is the people. That’s what we want to show.

Good examples of great facebook pages:

Also-

WebProtectMe doesn’t have a tagline?

Protecting who you love most.

Your co-pilot of the web.

–> You can’t be everywhere all the time. Let us help.

Also, we kinda need a few articles where people can read about what WPM is, so we can link them on the fb page. We just need a lot more content on there. It’s super bare bones atm.

Lots. More. Photos of action shots.

Twitter:

The banner needs to change too.

start posting.

Pinterest:

We also need a Pinterest page.

reservation style promoted pins

For example, Kraft, one of Pinterest’s advertising partners, may want to advertise a new BBQ sauce. They create a pin for it, and using the reservation style promoted pins, the BBQ sauce promoted pin may show up in boards titled, “BBQ Ideas, BBQ Chicken, BBQ Party” and more.

7/17-7/19 Overview

Continue posting on Pinterest through Tailwind. I did find that we could have sponsored posts there, similar to Facebook, so we can look into that soon.

Continue keeping Twitter updated and get more followers. I found that some Idaho place of commerce had an article about Digitar a while back so I followed them and a lot of their followers, and that made a big difference. I also found Ken Ham’s followers to be enormously receptive.

Facebook: the boosted post was fantastic. Good results.

Homeschool.com Media Kit: http://www.secularhomeschool.com/content/543-secularhomeschool-com-media-kit-advertisers/

The prices:

1) BRAND NEW FOR 2017! We’re now offering up to 4 leaderboard-size vertically stacked banners at the bottom of every page on the desktop site. These are not rotating banners – – they are static so they will appear with every page load. You may reserve one or more placements in this rotation at the rates outlined below.

COST: 6 months: $400 each      1 year: $750 each

2)

An exciting new option in our advertising is the ability to place leaderboard size ads (728 x 90 ppi) within each of our forum threads. With our forum being the center of activity on SecularHomeschool.com, this is a terrific way to make sure your product gets prime exposure. You may choose 1 or more rotation spots in this placement for either six months or one year.

COST: 6 months: $300 each      1 year: $525 each

3)

Also new is the ability to integrate rotating ads right within our forum. We are offering a mobile-only spot within all threads of the forum viewed on mobile devices in either six month or one year increments.

 COST: 6 months: $250 each      1 year: $450 each

4)

Article Submissions to SecularHomeschool.com are featured on our home page for one week and then archived on our site indefinitely to aid with SEO. Each article submission is also promoted during it’s featured week on all of our social channels, greatly increasing the reach of viewers. Images and video are welcome to be included in the article, and the site can accommodate some HTML design elements.

COST: $200

5)

Social Media Burst puts your message in front of our four primary social channels: Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Google+ with a combined following of over 24,000. And because Facebook hosts our largest and most active social following, we ensure that you get the most bang for your buck by using part of your purchase price to boost your post there and extend the reach of your messaging.

COST: $175 each and $150 for each additional social media burst purchased
